MONTE YOHO-THE OUTLAWS IN THE STUDIO-FIRST SOUTHERN ROCK CRUISE-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--6.5 X 14...

I finally had a chance last week to catch up with the legendary Monte Yoho of The Outlaws....

The Outlaws are one of the greatest bands in Southern Rock history, and continue to prove that show after show, and year after year. I have had the huge privilege of seeing them live numerous times, and the enduring talent in that band never ceases to amaze me, and the huge audiences they draw.

Monte has used several snare drums from here exclusively for a long time now. The 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 14 is his main, and he uses a 1.5 Steel--5.5 x 14 as an auxiliary. The band recently took part in the first Southern Rock Cruise with Lynyrd Skynyrd and other great bands of this genre. They are also getting ready to head out this Spring on tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd on The Last Of The Street Survivors Farewell Tour, and on numerous other headlining dates around the country as well.

The first three images are from the Southern Rock Cruise and were taken by his brother Rob Yoho who always captures incredible images, and is an outstanding photographer. Thank You for those Rob! The two images on the bottom are from a recent session where the band is recording another highly anticipated studio album.

Thank You Again for everything Monte. You have been one of the greatest supporters and friends ever to me over the years. Your input, support and advice has been a source of non-stop inspiration to me. See you soon!

TOMMY HARDEN-LIVE WITH ALABAMA IN LAS VEGAS-SOUTHERN DRAWL TOUR-BEIER 1.5 STEEL--4 X 15...

Want to send out a huge Thank You to Tommy Harden here today....

Tommy recently filled in for some Las Vegas shows with one of the biggest selling bands of all-time: Alabama. He chose his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 for these shows, and that has been one of his main go-to drums for quite some time. He has used that drum for numerous sessions and releases, and I always look forward to hearing what he is working on.

His latest project, with his wife Lorrie, is the Lost Hollow Band. They recently just got back from some shows again in the UK, are an incredible band, and have been met with widespread approval. Please see the link below for information on their live dates, and releases.

Thank You Tommy.....
